How to Make my direct TV satellite work as a regular antenna for a D-TV converter box ?
Okay so i have only 1 direct TV receiver box and its located in my living room and my direct TV account is active. I was wondering if it was possible to use the direct TV satellite to serve as a regular antenna to send signal to a digital converter box for my television in my bedroom ?

No. The Direct TV antenna is made for about 14 Gigahertz. Your TV stations are less that 1 gigahertz. A coat hanger would work better.

Buying a direct tv receiver box and card from ebay, will it work at home?
I already have direct tv at my house but only for one TV and I would like to have another box so i my wife can watch it in another room. I found some on ebay with a access card and was thinking about buying it but will direct tv charge me extra monthly? Do I need to tell them I bought new receivers so they could activate it?

I guess the receiver on eBay may come with a cracked card or something like that.
You may ask the company first as they charge only 4,99$ a month to set it up for the second TV in the house.

Can the Direct tv access card work in different countries?
I live in Venezuela and in Houston but Venezuela is my permanent place of stay. I have Direct TV in both countries, but I prefer that of the USA. Could it be possible for me to take the access card from the USA and insert it to the one (Direct TV box) in Venezuela? If not, what do I have to do?

Request a second receiver or third/forth for your Houston address cancel your Venezuela account and don’t plug in the phone line…

Direct TV. How about if we transfer to apartment and the apartment’s landlord doesn’t allow dish installation?
Anyone who had experience like this with direct tv? We’re planning to move to a new apartment but they don’t allow satellite dish installation. Are we exempted to this penalty?

Nope. We moved into an apartment a few months ago and they came to hook up satelite, but could not get a connection from our patio and that is the only place the apt. Would let them put a dish so we had to get cable. Its not bad tho, brighthouse cable, phone, and internet for 100/mo

How do I program my Direct TV DVR HD remote to my TV which is a Mitsubishi?
The tech hooked up Direct TV yesterday but he didn’t program my TV on my Direct TV dvr HD remote. The remote is White with and on, off and power button on the top and and a HD dvr record capability. Please help anyone. He did not leave a user manual either so I can’t find the directions to this.
