why is my internet so slow?
Hi im 14 and the internet is probably my life i use it to find everything such as videos and pictures songs and movies ect. Just the thing is my internet is so stinking slow it has a download speed of about 25Kbs and youtube takes 20 mins to load a 5 min video. At first i thought this to be normal i didn’t find out till way later that its not. i have new ethernet slots to my computer but no cigar. I am connected through a router that works pretty well for wireless but my wired is so slow ive thought about new cables but they are too expensive for a 14 year old that makes nothing for allowance and has overprotective parents so any ideas? This would have been posted about half an hour ago if my internet worked normal. i know i shouldn’t complain but its the internet global updates man!! LOL Anyway please help

I am a software engineering student so please follow the guidelines I provide below (you find it lengthy but I assure you it will work)
The Problems
1. Whenever you open a web page the system drive unwantedly or i must say without the user permission downloads data and stores it this increases the amount of disk space used by your browser
2. Unwanted cookies get loaded in your PC
3. PC is out of update.
4. And many which are not necessary for you to know
Solutions
1.
First and for-most use a flexible browser
Mozilla firefox is best browser which is widely used, To get this browser you need to download and install it

Your PC has unwanted data which is processing unnecessarily
and must be cleaned so that your PC will be fast and flexible
and the ultimate answer is “CCleaner”

download and install it
then open CCleaner –> click Analyze –> this displays the amount of unwanted data to be cleaned.. When I did this for the first time it showed me 688 MB to be removed
then after analyzing click Run Cleaner –> now your PC is cleaned

Running ccleaner your job is 70% completed
and now install the firefox.

Stop unused startup programs
to do this
for XP – click start –> run as
for VISTA – hold start + R on Keyboard
a window will pop up..
–> type msconfig press enter
–> a window appears
–> click the startup tab
–> unselect the programs you dont want to run when windows starts at the check box
–> dont unselect the system programs you may damage your PC
–> after unselecting appropriate programs click apply
–> a window appears click “Exit without restart”
This will help you to start the system fast.

1) it can hold up to 1,750 songs and 10 hours video. Im not sure about photos, but it’s probably a lot.
2) the internets not bad, its pretty easy to work with.
3) I dont think you can get videos..cause you cant really do that on the computer. But you can always buy videos from the iTunes store.
4) well it depends on who you are, if you get bored easily and like to play games then it will be worth your money, because its a great thing to have for like long car rides so you dont get bored, or just staying at home bored, in general. :]

Is this possible for iPod?
My old laptop was stolen from my room a few days ago and I was just wondering if I can still have the same songs, same number of counts for the songs etc… on my new downloaded iTunes from the apple site. I have songs on my iPod which I want to be transferred into iTunes but I heard that it might be all deleted because I am using a different laptop. Does it matter? If it does, then what can I do to not have to download all my songs again (because there’s like, A LOT in there)? Or is there no way to restore all the songs? And can I add new music into it now? Also, do movies/ music videos work as well?

Yes, this is basically possible.
First thing: do NOT set up your iPod on the new computer yet. Doing this will erase all the songs from it and you’ll be out of luck.
What you need to do is install one of the many iPod copy/backup programs available on your computer (a few reviews and tutorials here: You need to use one of the many programs available to help you do this. Here are a few reviews and tutorials: http://ipod.about.com/od/howtos/a/transfer_itunes.htm).
Once you’ve done that, copy the songs from your iPod to your hard drive.
When you know for sure that the songs are on your hard drive, then you can set the iPod up again and re-download the songs to it.

Need help finding a song?
I’ve been trying to find a song for quite some time now and it’s starting to annoy me that I can’t track it down. It was in the first Jeepers Creepers movie playing on the car radio when the cops are getting killed. It’s like a pop version of the old Frank Sinatra song by the same title as the movie, Jeepers Creepers. I can’t seem to find out anything about this pop version. Any help on who does it or where I can download it would be great. Thanks.
