Where is a place I can download movies?
Okay, i need to download some movies.I know that there are plenty of sites, but they include membership or a free trial. I dont want to have to install or download anything to use the site. I don’t want anything to do with Zango, and I want it to be legal. And it has to be fast. I just want a site that is straightfoward, easy to use, and free ALL THE TIME!!

like, sharing websites such as nowdownload, etc. they want you to pay a small membership fee, and then you can download whatever..ebooks, movies…is it legal/does it work?

Depends if the site has a license to distribute the content they are distributing.
Will you get in trouble for downloading? No. No one has in the past. The people that have been in trouble are for sharing. They download the content, then leave in their shared folder for the rest of the world to download.

What are the best LEGAL sites from which to download old movies free?
I like watching old (mainly black-and-white movies). I have downloaded some from the Internet Archive website, which has a stock of movies that are out of copyright.
Does anyone know of other sites from which I can download this kind of movies – feature films and wartime propaganda films?
I only want to visit sites that are legal and safe. I have seen a few possible sites on the Internet, but I am reluctant to download from them unless they are given the OK by someone who knows which ones I should avoid.

Other than Archive.org I don’t know of any sites where you can download films legally. There are several sites where you can legally stream classic black and white films, but not actually download them to your computer.
