Your Questions About Download Old Movies Songs

Charles asks…

Should I buy an I-pod for Christmas?

I would like to buy a present for my daughter. She has an I-pod, which is 3 years old and does not work properly at times. What type of I-pod should I buy to replace this one. She really likes it and takes a very good care of it. She loves to download many, many songs and some movies also. Thanks for your input!
I am considering this one:

Apple iPod touch 32GB – 2nd generation

Nagesh answers:

TOTALLY GET AN IPOD TOUCH OR THE NEW NANO-CHROMATIC. Touches are the most amazing thing in the world. I also suggest the 30 GB Video or something- they are great. Depends whether you want a touch screen or a scroll wheel. If shes a teen-touch, and 8 yrs-video, and older-nano-chromatic

Wrong Codec for Windows Movie Maker?

I’ve read some of the answers to this problem but I’m still not sure. And I’ve looked everywhere online for it. I’m still not sure I understand.

When I’m trying to upload music to Windows Movie Maker It says
“The file C:UsersMeMusiciTunesiTunes MusicMastodon1 Oblivion.mp3 cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again.”
What does that mean?
I finally got to where I could upload itunes music on it by making it mp3 format. It worked last night when I uploaded a song that I had just recently bought. But when I tried to upload this song that I bought about a little less that a year ago. I got what I posted above this.

I have also noticed that when I try to download songs onto my phone that the older bought songs wont play on it. Is there something different with the newer songs that I’ve been buy within the last 8 months itunes is selling or do I just not know what I’m doing and messing everything up?

If you could please help me I would appreciate it.

Sorry for any misspelled words and if you didn’t understand. I’m not entirely sure how to state it.
Also if you tell me to download something, I always screw it up. Im never sure what to download because most of the times on the site there is more than one thing to download. So if you would be specific that would help a lot.
Thanks

Windows Movie Maker does not work with .mp3 files. Try converting it to a .wma file, and it should work.

Mary asks…

itunes deleted my music/movies/playlists?

I was prompted to download the newer version of itunes by apple and after I did everything was gone. I tried to restore my computer to go back to the older version but then it says there are files missing that are needed to open itunes. I had like 3000 songs and 9 movies. Does anyone know how I can get them al back. I thought about plugging my ipod into the computer and seeing if they will transfer from the ipod to itunes but I’m afraid it will erase it.

Nagesh answers:

Windows will make a backup of the time before you restored, go back to that version and then go into the Shared folder in My Computer>Your Name>Shared

ur music should hopefully be there (it was for me)

Return of the Living Dead Soundtrack?

Does anyone know where I can download this in mp3? I can’t find it on iTunes. I mainly just want the song “Partytime” by .45 Grave. The version from the movie is top notch, way better than the original.

BQ: What are some other old movies with similarly awesome soundtracks?

Nagesh answers:

Yes you can try it on http://www.filmisnow.eu site! This site is really good for working!
