Why not try using Ezvid instead of WindowsLMMaker? Actually that was my editor before but its really giving me lots of errors and techie issues so I switched.
I recommend Ezvid @ http://www.ezvid.com/ – it’s totally free and very ease to use
Ezvid allows you to do screen capture, create slideshows, import pictures or video clips onto it. It can add text slides, add a background music or even do a voice-over and upload finished videos to YouTube straight. It’s really a pretty decent solution and the best alternative.
