Your Questions About Download Old Movies Online

Sharon asks…

Things that you can do with an ipad as you would do with laptop?

Since my laptop is too big, I’m thinking about buying a small one, so I can take it to school when
I want to.

I would like to know if buying an ipad is a better option, because I have heard many people saying there are many things you can do with an ipad as the laptop.

Nagesh answers:

I am sorry to say but the other answer is totally wrong.

You can watch all kind of video online. Flash is old technology and all the video content have been recoded into HTML 5 so you don’t need flash to watch videos.

IPad has a camera kit which you get for just $29 and it lets you connect camera and memory card to import photos and videos.

Multitasking:

You can browse the net, watch a video, listen a song, read file while downloading content from web.

You can play iPod at the background and browse the web or create a word/ excel document

Radio app can be played at the background.

The screen can be split into three parts and browse three websites simultaneously with radio playing at the background.

Split the screen in two parts and browse the web on one side, use app like calculator, unit converter, translator on the other side with radio playing at the background.

You can create presentation on it and then connect directly to the projector. You can also connect it to TV and watch movie on Netflix or browse the web on TV.

You can watch all TV shows on iPad for free. Netflix also works on it.battery life is incredible it lasts 15 hours at single charge.

It keeps you connected to all social networking sites which means as soon as you get a message on any social network , you are notified. You can also set notification for calendar or sports score.

As soon as any news breaks , you get alarm.

I create word document everyday on iPad for my office. There are plenty of free games and free books.iPad is phenomenal no wonder 1 million iPad sold in 28 days.

Any web content right from PDF files, email attachment to YouTube video and movies can be downloaded right on iPad.So you can watch them offline.

For download , there are apps like downloader and Goodreader in App store.

Maria asks…

Does anyone know Nintendo 3DS release date in USA?

I was thinking of buying a dsi XL for Christmas but then I saw something about the 3DS. It looks pretty awesome, Does anyone know a release date and possibly the cost on one? It seems silly to buy a dsi if something better is coming soon.

Nagesh answers:

There are no official price nor date for other regions, other than Japan at least, but here are what to expect though.

Here’s the expected release date for Japan, North America, Europe and Australia:

* JP February 26, 2011
* NA March 2011
* EU March 2011
* AUS March 2011

There’s no price for it in North America/Europe/Austrailia, yet, but it will be ¥25,000(yen) in Japan.
Also the currency in Japan works differently than here in US, so don’t get confuse with the price everyone is saying cuz Nintendo of America hasn’t said anything about the price. ¥25,000 isn’t really that big if you live in Japan and the currency always change. Also, it cost about ¥20,000 just to feed a regular sized family. But speculations are thinking that it might be less than $300 since the older DSes(DS Phat, DS Lite, DSi, DSi XL) were $40-60 less than that of the Japan release price. Maybe the same price as PSP Go at launch.

I would suggest you wait for it since 3DS features such 3D auto-stereoscopic, multimedia, motion control, touch-screen, 3 cameras, TV streaming; and its support on variety of 1st and 3rd party games are massive and it also compatible with the DS softwares and DSi wares.

Some 3DS features (there’s more that weren’t announced by Nintendo):
The 3DS graphics is the closest handheld gaming device that comes close to 360/PS3 graphical wise(you gotta see it to believe it; specs don’t count), it supports 2 screens, 1st screen as a 3D screen without glasses(it’s real and it works, you can also turn off the 3D if you want 2D), 2nd screen as a touch-screen, compatible with the old generations of DS softwares, gyroscope, accelerometer, audio player, 3 cameras(one inside, and two outside), capable of taking 2D/3D photos and capturing 2D/3D videos, 2D/3D movie playback, multitasking(i.e. You can access web browser while playing a game), Virtual Console Service(which was not available with the DSi/DSi XL) and some 3D remakes of classic retro games(GB, GBC, GBA, NES, SNES, and more), also compatible with DSi Wares, 3DS Mii Plaza (Mii creation), augmented reality games, CrossPass” (which can automatically seek and connect to wireless network nodes such as Wi-Fi hotspots, sending and downloading information in the background while in sleep mode or while playing a game), 3D TV streaming(only available in Japan at the moment), e-book reader, better online capabilities, video chat, shop channel, web browser (and anything you do on the web like mail, facebook, etc.), and more which weren’t fully announced by Nintendo. Plus the games are longer and are quality games.

Some games that will be coming out for it:
Metal Gear Solid 3, Super Street Fighter IV, Resident Evil: Revelation, Resident Evil: Mercenaries, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Times, Kid Icarus, Paper Mario, Star Fox 64, Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright, Mario Kart, Kingdom Hearts series, Final Fantasy series, Dead or Alive 3D, Ninja Gaiden, Samurai Warriors 3D, Assassin’s Creed: Lost Legacy, Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell, Call of Duty, Megaman Legends 3, and more. There will also be 3DS ware games, like Cave Story.

Some features:

3DS Shop Channel:

Just in case you go “where’s the 3D!?” it won’t work on your computer screen, you gotta see it in person to see the 3D.

Few of the games that will be coming out for it:

Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition:

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater:

Professor Layton VS Phoenix Wright

More games being played live:

If you’re worried about the price then you should know that glasses-free 3D cameras and videos don’t come cheap and you’re looking at about $500+, but 3DS packs more features, yet it’s only less than $300. If you think about it, the iPod Touch cost more than the 3DS when it comes to features and games.

Daniel asks…

does anyone know where i can watch movies online with out downloading anythink?

i wanna watch quest to Camelot, its a film from when i was little does anyone know where i can watch it for free without downloading anything

Nagesh answers:

If it’s that old you may have less of a headache just buying it from Amazon.

Or Netflix. All these other free site suggestions are rubbish and illegal

Jenny asks…

Is the iPad as good as a laptop?

I want to get an ipad but i need to know if it will have all the functions of a laptop. Like can you put a flash stick in it and pull pics and videos off of it? Or should i just just spend the extra cash and get a macbook. What are the pros and cons of both.

Nagesh answers:

IPad is not better or worse than a laptop. It’s different. It can do lot of things that a computer does but it does everything differently.
On many occasion, iPad does things better and faster than PC.

You can connect digital camera and memory card to iPad to import photos and videos but you need to get camera kit which is available for just $29

If you need to create not so complicated word documents, excel spreadsheet and PowerPoint presentation, iPad is the right choice.

If you wanna watch movies online without any pop ups and add banner , iPad is perfect.

If you like over 50,000 games available in App store , iPad is the best.

PC can download games from any website but all the website together don’t have even half of the games that iPad already has and best part is over 15,000 games for iPad are free.

You can upload photos and videos to any site like photo bucket in fraction of minutes. Everything is easy and fast on iPad

IPad is amazing device but it’s not intended to replace a computer so if you don’t have any kind of computer then better get a computer.

But if you have a computer even an old desktop , then get iPad.

William asks…

why do you think i should get a ps3 slim?

im am having problems deciding on whether i should get a new ps3 or not. i have heard they are really good and the main reason why i want one is for being able to add songs to guitar hero. i will use it for other things too but that will be the first. in your opinion is a ps3 a good buy or should i just stick with my ps2?

Nagesh answers:

1 – The PS3 Has Hi-Def/Blu-ray
Let’s get the most obvious feature out there first. Both the Xbox 360 and Wii operate off of older disc technologies, and the PS3 is the only gaming console that offers a Blu-ray high definition disc drive. This plays out to be two distinct advantages for the PS3 — Blu-ray movies and Blu-ray games. DVDs are on their way out, and Blu-ray is the new standard for video. Blu-ray discs also hold more data, so the PS3 has to use fewer discs for games. Finally, every PS3 supports 1080p video, upconverts regular DVDs to look better on your HDTV, and has an HDMI output (necessary for the highest quality HD signals).

#2 – The PS3 Is Ready Out of the Box, Cheaper to Own
While it is true that the sticker price of the PS3 is higher than the Wii or Xbox 360, it is a feature complete system. Take for example the controllers. All three systems come with wireless controllers, but the PS3’s DualShock 3 is the only one that’s rechargeable out of the box.

Want to get online using your WiFi network? On the Xbox 360, that will require a $100 dollar wireless upgrade kit while on the PS3 and the Wii wireless networking is built in, though the Wii requires you to buy their web browser. Want to play games online? That will require you to purchase an Xbox Live Gold Membership. The cost to play on the PlayStation network? Nada. Want to download new games and video for your console? While it is no problem for the PS3, but you may have to purchase additional storage for some Xbox 360s and Wiis if you plan to download much of anything.

#3 – The PS3 Has Great Games To Satisfy the Mainstream and the More Discerning Gamer
All three systems have a wide variety of wonderful games, and most major American and European games appear on all three systems. But the PlayStation 3 has the support of Japanese developers and online boutique developers that the other two simply don’t have. Sure the Xbox 360 has Halo and the Wii has Mario, but the PS3 has equally good exclusives in Metal Gear Solid 4, God Of War III, LittleBigPlanet, and the greatest driving game ever, Gran Turismo 5.

In addition, consider the unique Japanese and indy titles that only the PS3 gets. From Pixel Junk Monsters, Flow, EveryDay Shooter, The Last Guy, and LocoRoco Cocoreccho!, to software that’s more like interactive art than games, such as Tori-Emaki, Flower, and Linger in Shadows, there are simply odd and wonderful things that exist on the PS3 that don’t on the other systems.

#4 – The PS3 Has Lots of Multimedia and Non-gaming Features
The PS3 can show pictures, play videos, and play music you download from the net, or from a USB device such as a thumb drive or external hard drive as well as streaming from a computer. So does the Xbox 360, but only the PS3 will allow you to stream it to your PlayStation Portable, remotely. This means you can access your media, including Blu-ray discs, on the road using your PSP. The PS3 also supports Linux as an additional operating system, allowing it to be used for a variety of non-gaming purposes.

#5 – Online Gaming Is Free and Easy
All three systems now offer web surfing and the purchasing of games online. Unlike the other two systems, however, online gaming on the PS3 is both easy and free, with no extra fees or complicated friend codes required. The PS3 also offers a unique and free virtual world called Home, where you can chat, hang out and play games with other PS3 owners. Much like the Xbox Live Achievement system, the PS3 has a Trophies system that allows you to earn awards as you play games and compare how you’ve done against other players.

Finally, and perhaps best demonstrating the PS3’s commitment to being a unique device, is Folding@home, a program that allows your PS3 to be used to help Stanford University scientists perform cancer research using your console’s spare computational cycles when you are not gaming.

If you’re interested in learning more about the PlayStation 3, I have all of its technical specifications, a gallery of PS3 images, a large collection of reviews, and a variety of other PS3 related information throughout our site.
