Your Questions About Download Old Movies Online

Paul asks…

What fun things are there for me and my two friends to do on a cruise? (we are 16 year old girls)?

Like besides swimming and expensive stuff

Nagesh answers:

I’ll discuss what to do OTHER THAN the usual teen club stuff. Each morning, in your stateroom mailbox there is a print-out of everything to do for that day. Meet with your 2 friends and go over the ones that interest you. It will say stuff like “win prizes – contests near pool ‘A’ at 2:00 p.m.” etc. There are all kinds of things to attend – all day long. You can hit the sports deck and the 3 of you could participate in your favorite sports together. They have a movie room, I think and an arcade etc. Stop by the main dining room at about 3:00 p.m. And wet your appetite by reading what will be on the menu particular evening. After all, you may be offered lobster tails, Alaskan king crab, fillet mignon etc. So you can know in advance if one of your favorite foods is being offered during dinner time. If the 3 of you all hate the wonderful choices, you cold all head to the sushi bar, or the pizza place on the lido deck instead of eating in the dining room. You can hit the library (if any of your like novels etc.) or you can hit the Internet cafe if you get bored. One non-boring thing to do is to download the inexpensive shore excursions online right now and see what will be available at port-of-call”X” or “Y” port after that. The 3 of you can conspire together to convince each of your parents to fork out doe for, let’s say horseback riding and lunch on the beach. That way you can “steer” your parents towards to exciting tours instead of the tours of interest t old farts like me.Here’s a tip if you like underwater photography up close. Pack crackers (as in soda crackers) and a snorkel mask. Have one of your friends sprinkle crackers on the ocean surface about 50 feet out from the beach, have another friend hold the camera underwater and watch the show. Hundreds of different colored fish will arrive to devour the crackers and it is a colorful show. Shore excursions do not have to be expensive. On our last cruise (just got back March 15th), When we got to Cayman Islands, we paid $8. Each way for a cab to 7-mile beach which is just the loveliest beach in the world. We paid $39. Each for a van to take us the Chukka beach. This $39. Each was a Celebrity-approved shore excursion) paid in advance. It included free drinks and a chicken lunch which was fine. No one got sick, no one was mugged. Last year, near Costa Maya, Mexico we did our own tour and paid a local “cab-tour-group”, to drive us to a beach and back . I think we paid about $20. Each way. We had a great time. It did include non-alcoholic drinks and a beach chair. Food nearby right on the beach…no one sick, no one mugged, just a relaxing time.

David asks…

Will free online downloads of books (in copyright) kill publishing as we know it?

Will authors still be able to write for money?

Are free downloads completely a bad thing, or could they increase an author’s audience somehow? I’ve seen so many people here asking for free downloads, and it makes me worry for the future of books. But am I wrong to worry?

Nagesh answers:

I think e-copies of books are another (minor?) avenue for authors to sell their work. I read bits and pieces off the screen, but for big articles and books I prefer a hard copy. I think a lot of people are like me.

A concern with on-line books is the ease in which they can be copied illegally. Your question about free downloads is mostly about pirating, but old books that are out of copyright are available in e-version for free. It is the same with music and movies. I don’t know if there is an answer to pirating. Some authors shrug and hope that copying broadens their audience base – some of the readers who initially read pirated books will eventually buy a legit one.

Or, if you liked the pirated book you read, you may decide to give one to a friend for Xmas, and you won’t give a pirated copy because it makes you look cheap.

As long as people read my work, hard or soft, legit or pirated, I’m happy.

Ken asks…

can i make chess videos through chess notations?

i have some chess game notations with me , i want to make chess game videos with them ?
if possible how?
what software is used?

Nagesh answers:

Hello;

I have made many chess videos! It is actually very easy …

After you have selected a game in .pgn format the first thing you need is a way to play through the moves of the game on the computer. There are a lot of good pgn readers online. Many players use Fritz for the displaying games. Winboard is good, but there are others that are more configurable. I use a program called Scid. It is a chess database program that is essential for a serious chess player anyway.

So now you are able to display the game on the computer screen. It is very straight forward to record the part of the desktop where the game is played using a video screen capture program. Again there are many different programs to do this. HyperCam will work, but CamStudio is much better.

For audio editing I use Audacity, but that is only because it is so easy to use (once it is installed).

Putting it all together — Windows movie maker or any decent video production software will do. In Windows I use an old version of Nero. In Linux I like Open Shot.

There are a few extra things. I have a bad voice so I use a voice synthesiser.

I look forward to seeing you work!!

Cordially,

What is the best way to buy anime legally?

Nagesh answers:

Everyone is giving you two options but without the reasons of way

I say go to your local comic shop or a store like moviestop that deals with movies. Stay away from best buy because they only want to sell you tv’s and Wal-mart cause they are evil.

I don’t like internet shopping because they are not local and I’m big on not just supporting anime but local business as well. It’s important to foster community

And while some on-line stores are local like AnimeNation which is in Tampa. If your not in Tampa try to find a store in your area that has Anime. Not all big companies are bad Barnes and Noble, Borders, and Moviestop are in the biz to sell Anime and they support the local economy unlike Wal-mart strip mining American for low prices. Or the internet companies from somewhere else.

Sure you’ll spend more at the comic shop then online but they have to pay the bills and the workers not just the web server fee. And you can get involved with ppl of like minds start an Anime group find someone special to call friend then date then raise kids that watch Anime completing the circle of life. Where on line you get cheap prices and vr dates with girls who are really old guys hanging out in their parents basement!

Sorry to rant but it’s my option hope I’ve helped and thanks for buying Anime not downloading it for free never buying it and wondering why no one makes good Anime

There are many excuses to do the wrong thing and only one reason to do the right thing! Because it is the right thing!

Is it possible to transfer your achievements on one Xbox to another?

Dont wanna be a noob again

Nagesh answers:

If you’ve ever logged into Live, even with a Silver account, then your achievements have been stored online.

On your new Xbox, instead of creating a new gamertag, select the option at the far right called “Recover gamertag.” You’ll enter your existing gamertag and password. This will cause your gamertag profile, and yes your achievements, to be downloaded on your new 360.

However a better method is to go get the Hard Drive Transfer Cable so you can copy all the content from your old Xbox’s hard drive to your new Xbox’s hard drive – including game saves, profiles, and all downloaded content (games, movies, etc.)
