It’s a dirndl, a traditional German dress. There are many variations to the dirndl, but the pieces are the same, blouse, skirt, and bodice. There’s a dirndl pattern on the burda style website and the german website for burda pattern has several for sale. Dirndls are usually a blouse with puffed sleeve and gathered neckline (Similar to a peasant blouse) worn with a skirt that’s quite full and gathered or pleated to a waistband. The look is finished with either a bodice that looks like a tight vest over the blouse or suspenders that are elaborately jeweled and embroidered. I believe in the movie she wore a very low bodice with suspenders, but I could be wrong. The necklines of true Bavarian dirndl blouses are quite low, just above the cleavage, and this is the true traditional style. Many dirndls and bodices are elaborately embroidered with florals in brilliant colours, and often the blouses are embroidered, too.

Play them in iTunes and see if they play all the way through. If they don’t, they probably didn’t download completely. If they do play completely in iTunes, just delete them from the iPod and re-sync them.
