Your Questions About Download Old Movies Online

William asks…

What’s the name of this old movie I had on VHS of a compilation of old cartoons?

When i was a kid (aka in the 90s) I used to have this VHS tape that I thought was called “50 Funny Cartoons” but maybe its not called that because i cant find that anywhere. But anyways, it was a compilation of old cartoons by Max Fleischer (i.e. Color Classics) as well as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Gabby, Porky Pig, Mighty Mouse and just a bunch of other ones (I know for a fact that it included: The Old Lady in the Shoe, Little Boy Blue, Babes in Dreamland, Daffy Duck and the Dinosaur). Does anyone maybe know what this movie is called or where i would be able to find it to download or buy online??

Nagesh answers:

I think it was called “Looney Tunes”. Hope you find it, I loved those “oldies”

Sharon asks…

Can the old time warner pioneer box work with my cable i have now? If so how?

I have an old pioneer box and I want to hook it up in my room so that I can get my movie channels in my room. It says that the box needs an update. Is there an online update I can download through the usb jack?

Nagesh answers:

The USB jack is rarely used by TWC, and there’s really nothing the user can do with it. The box will take the update through the cable itself, actually, provided that the box is registered on an active account. If the box’s serial number is not in TWC’s computers, it will just “brick up” and stop functioning as soon as it establishes 2-way communication with the cable system.

It can’t hurt to call in to customer service and have them do a lookup on the box, and if it’s on your account, they can send a “hit” to it to get it working again.

Robert asks…

I go to a online high school and i think my teacher is doing something illegal?

We are reading a book and my teacher plays parts of the movie in class. Like The whole movie. Part by part in the meeting software, which is part of the grade to attend. Also the teacher has it in the classroom for us to download via Flash. Isn’t this illegal for her to do this? I know a friend who got a fine for watching movies online. I don’t want to get in trouble. I just want to pass the class. I don’t want to give much details because i like my teacher, I just don’t want a $250,000 fine. She said she borrowed the clips from Youtube. I kinda think it would be fair use since it school and i know at my old brick and Morton school, they played movies on the tv that when with books.
Then again thinking about it more. I don’t think i should worry. Shes the one playing it in the meeting, not me. Plus its a old movie. I’m sure the internet people will check the logs and warn her.

Nagesh answers:

Youtube is fine to rip movies from. Youtube has to be the one to worry about copyright violations, which is why so many shows and clips you can’t find on there. If she has you download the clips that she got from youtube, you will be fine.
