Is there a device like the Amazon Kindle, except it plays movies?
Where you can download movies onto it (legally, using a credit card) and play movies on the device.

There is no device that I know of that is solely designed to allow the user to download movies the way the Kindle is for books. However, there are online services that allow the user to download movies for a few dollars to watch on a laptop, so perhaps you could consider buying a Netbook?

i have downloaded movies (obviusly legally:D) which are RAR files…once openin then it says they are BIN file
which i cant access or open…can sum1 pleese tell me how 2 open and get the files out so that i can use them THANKS 😀

File formats like .bin .cue .iso are image formats…. That means they are the exact copy of the cd/dvd(not just copy and paste). You need to use a dvd burner to burn the .bin image or you can use something like www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/announcements.php and try to mount the image on your computer..

My freind downloaded many torrent, if he bought all the movies legally would that save him from being arrested?
Hypatheticly speaking, A guy downloads ileagle torrent files such as movies, he starts to feel guilty about it and worries he will be busted by the police some day. Could he purchase leagle copies of each ileagly downloaded movie he downloaded, so that if the FBI search his house he has all the movie Leagly on DVD as well as the ones on the PC he got from the torrents. Will he be ok so long as has legal versions of the movie to back up his ileagly downloaded versions. Or is fecked anyway ?
I don’t download ileagle movies my freind asked me to ask the community here as he is afraid of getting arrested .

I’m sure the courts would go easier on you (sorry, your friend), but I’d imagine it wouldn’t absolve you completely. Tell your friend it’s worth a try though.
