Lost all of the songs on my itunes, forever?!!?
My old computer had all of the songs from my iphone downloaded onto it. I got my iphone taken away and had a passcode on it. My old computer died, and I got a new one. I got my iphone back but forgot the passcode. I installed itunes onto my new computer and authorized it with the account I had on the old computer. There are no songs on this computer. I can’t open up my iphone to sync the songs. I restored my iphone back to factory settings so there is absolutely nothing on it. I plug it into my computer now though and I still can’t get any of my songs back. Is there some way I can, or will I have to download and purchase every movie, application, song, and video all over again?

Contact apple, and they for a one time deal will let you download your songs for free one time only. In the future you must back up your library, as itunes always alerts you from time to time.

How do I sync songs from ipod to itunes?
I have an ipod touch and the laptop that I had my itunes library on was really old so I got a new dell and downloaded itunes and synched my movies and apps that were already on my ipod, but i cant get my songs off the ipod and on the new itunes….HELP!

How do I transfer my itunes library from one computer to another?
I had just recently gotten a new laptop, but the problem is that my old computer has all my itunes songs and movies on it. How do I transfer them to my new computer? Most of my songs are downloads, but some are also bought legally. I tried that home sharing thing, its not working out to well. Any alternatives?Thanks!

ok, so limewire is a POS what can i use to replace it so i can still DL movies and songs? oh and applications!
YEAH this is the second time limewire has f*d up my computer, now i cant even system restore to an earlier date! **bad part** i just bought the computer march 1st~! anyway is there a “safer” program that has up-2-date files that arent all fake? every application,picture,song, and avi file ive ever downloaded with limewire is infected…AND im scared to delete it because on my old computer, it didnt crash my harddrive until i uninstalled it! HELP!

You could use an alternate route, bittorrent. There are websites that you can sign up for to get private access to the newest torrents. You can also use a public search engine www.isohunt.com to find torrents and use a program like utorrent to download the data. Stay away from limewire and other p2p, most files are fake and will just waste your time and give you great chances at a virus.
