How Long Does The Sims 3 Take To Download?
My dad bought me the game from Direct2Drive and its only 53% and its been atleast 2 hours and 43 minutess.. and Im waiting.. And also can I pause the download and turn off my laptop and continue this in the morning because I am getting tired yeah? please answer š Oh btw I have download manager.

If you’re using EA download manager you can turn off your laptop and continue in the morning. If you’re on a laptop i’m assuming that you are on a wireless connection, so then it can take a long time for it to download. If you have an ethernet cable by your router i would suggest plugging that in and it will reduce the time substantially.

Where can I purchase a digital copy of the game, Evil Genius, online?
I looked on direct2drive but I didn’t find it. Does anyone know of a reliable site to purchase digital downloads that has this game? I am pretty sure my computer has the right specifications but just in case, does anyone know them?

The game is not available for digital download. You might wanna try eBay or any used pc game stores in your area.

What would be the best online gaming store for PC games and why? Which ones should no longer exist?
I have most of my digital games on steam and some on origin. It is very annoying when i buy a game and it uses games for windows live. I would want this service to go away and also i kind of don’t like ubisoft uplay. There are also online based video game store that only sell games and are not like steam. These are greenmangaming, getgames, and gamersgate. When I want to buy a pc game i usually browse the steam store and then look at these online websites that sell games for good deals. I have also seen other services like impulse which is now part of gamestop and direct2drive which gamefly bought but these do not interest me for buying games and good deals. What do you think of all these online video game distribution services and which ones do you use?

Steam is still the best. Windows Live and UbiPlay or whatever the eff its called will always be there, no matter who sells the game. Pound for pound, Steam is the best.

direct2drive doesn’t have it nor does the official EA website, thanks.

I do not believe there’s a direct download for The Sims 2 for Mac.
Actually, I’m quite sure there isn’t.
You’ll need to just buy the physical version.

Can I purchase and downloaad The Sims 1 online?
Is there a website similar to Direct2Drive that will allow me to purchase and download the original Sims (Sims 1) without having a disk?

Now that the Maxis site is long gone there is nowhere you can find it now for legal download. The only versions available for downloading are the illegal torrents. EA no longer gives support for this game anymore either.
Try looking in gaming stores for pre played discs which are dirt cheap at the moment, less than $5!
The original game is becoming popular again though with older players seeking to replace worn out discs. But alot of new players are playing it now too.
