What food network personalities have no formal training?
I’m just curious to find out what food network personalities have no formal training. Any other famous chefs?

Most of them. Especially the loud mouth ones who think they are chefs – Rachael Ray, Paula Deen, The Neely’s, Melissa D’Arabian, the Deen “boys”, probably a ton of others.
I quit watching Food Network because they run those Guy Fee-etti (aka Ferry) marathons all day and all night, every day and night. He probably has no formal training. Most of the personalities talk way too much and that gets very tiresome.
Really, it doesn’t matter. If you like them, like the food they cook and they seem to know what they’re doing, enjoy it. Most of them have had their 15 minutes, I no longer watch them.

Was watching the food network and I saw an interesting program featuring a white man with spiky salt and pepper grey hair. Dont know the name of the show or the man. And where can I obtain his recipes Please help!

What Food Network shows should be cancelled?
There are some good shows on the Food network. Some I actually try their recipes.
There are others that need to just fall off the map.
What FN shows should be cancelled.

I LOVE Food Network but HATE some of the shows!!! The ones I would cancel would include Aarti Party (who really does Indiam cuisine?), rescue chef, barefoot contessa (BORING RICH PEOPLE!!!), pioneer woman, and several others i can’t think of at the moment…BUT i would LOVE to see MORE Guy Fieri shows, and MAYBE some newer competiton shows. ‘Doners, Drive-ins and Dives’ is THE BEST show on the network by far!!!!

How many of you are happy that Melissa won the Next Food Network Star?
I am so happy that Melissa one the Next Food Network Star! Jeffrey was so boring I was bored to tears! Melissa has a great personality and is awesome in front of the camera. I did want Debbie to win though, but Melissa is amazing too! How many of you are happy that Melissa won?

I liked Debbie cause there isn’t an asian chef on the Food Network yet. But out of Melissa and Jeffrey, I liked Jeffery’s pilot better cause it’s unique. Melissa is just another Rachel Ray to me.

Why is the food network lacking in program variety?
How come every time I turn on the food network it is either Dinners, Drive ins and Dives or Chopped. For hours on end with no other shows on?

Because the majority of “cooking” shows are now on the Cooking Channel… So all the Food Network has left is other shows about food
