John asks…
What is better a Zune or an Ipod Touch?
I’d like to know for christmas or my birthday thanks
Nagesh answers:
Zune HD is much better hands down, if your a music lover you would not even consider ipods as your option. Also Zune HD’s sound quality is much better than ipod touch, its a proven fact, no questions asked, all other brands like cowon, samsung, sony excel in sound quality.Ipods are dead last on sound.
Ipod touch hardware wise is just inferior, pc software is dead slow, and sound quality is bottom-dweller.
Zune PC Software is well organized and the lay out is an Eye Candy, its more stable and Syncs 10 faster than Itunes and never crashes like the itunes. Best of all Zune Software does the work for you it monitors new stuff for you, so you never have to Add it to the Library every time you have something New.
Music Interface on Zune Hd is unmatched, say your listening to AC/DC track, you can to go to artist page for it where you can see the artist bio, band pictures, All the albums ever produced, Related Artist, you get all this without ever connecting online, its basically stored on your device.
My words Can’t Do Justice to this Product.
And if you want to discover new music than Zune Pass is great, it allows you listen to unlimited songs on your PC and upto 3 Zune Device for $14.99 a month best of all you get to keep 10 songs each month, its like paying $5 for unlimited music. Say your listening to a song on radio that you like, you can simply tag it and download it right away on your device.
One of the many reasons that swayed my brother away from Itunes to Zune was Itunes song pricing system ever since 2009 they started charging $1.29 for new releases, and 99 cents for old releases.
Watching movies is a pleasant experience on Zune HD screen since its got an OLED display, which means Faster refresh rate and Better contrast and Greater brightness. My brother used to have a huge problem watching movies because his Ipod touch would show heavy ghosting and dark spot while watching movies, now he just loves watching movies on his ZuneHD. Zune HD has no Ghosting or Darkspots.
Best of all I watch 4 to 5 Movies, complete movies on a single charge on my Zune HD.Battery life on Zune HD for Music Playback is 33 hours and 8.5 hours for Videos.
In near future people will be buying OLED Display TVs like crazy. Ipod has those outdated LCD displays that other brands like Samsung , Cowon and Sony are all phasing out.
Games on Zune HD leave Ipods in the oblivion. Check out this game on Zune HD
In brief Zune HD has Tegra processor hence its open for future potential, hardware would not limit adding new features. Zune team is working day n night to develop cool stuff for Zune HD.Apps Store will grow. Zune is the only MP3 player in the Market with HD radio technology. It has the backing of Technology Giant Microsoft. The same people who are bringing you Project Natal, Surface Computers, and Microsoft Courier
List of Reason Why Zune HD stands out
1-Zune software that syncs with your zune device is 10 times faster than itunes.
2-Sync wirelessly with your device.
3-Itunes is not a better option if you own a PC since its slow and tends to crash alot.
4-Itunes store is also full of clutter
5- Connect with your Xbox 360. Ipod touch wont even connect with Xbox 360.
6-Zune HD has an OLED Display
7-HD video out
8-HD Radio ,based on where you live you can get extra Radio stations, HD Radio has CD quality
sound. And if you like a song you can tag it and get it from Zune Marketplace.
9- It Weights lighter than the Ipod touch, its only 2.6 ounces whereas IPod touch is 4.1 ounces.
10- Nvidia Tegra Processor that supports 3D graphics.
11 All the Apps and Games are Free.
12. Charges .99 Cents for all releases whether New Or Old. Same Rate.No Extra charges like Itunes
13. Best Software for Collection Organization
14. Updates Are Always Free On Zune. Unlike Apple Likes to Charge $10 for Ipod Touch Updates
Cons for having an Ipod touch
1 No Radio
2 No HD out
3 Music Quality Sucks monkey balls,
4 No OLED
5. No Tegra Processor
6. No PGR – Project Ghotham Racing
7. No Play Counts
8. No unlimited Subscription service
9. No wireless Sync
10 No 16GB model for the new third gen ipods, Apple saw competition from Microsoft too much to bare so they decided to axe the 16 gb model.
11. Crappy Battery Life
12. Itunes still syncs slow on PCs and crashes more often.
Dj lazy is full of it, let the facts show Zune does not always ask for updates, that job is left to the buggy itunes. And it takes zero steps to transfer your files to Zune Software, yes zero step, Zune Software moniters all your folder for you so don’t have to add everytime you get something new.
Dj lazy can’t even get his past tense correct, makes you wonder if he ever had a Zune.

William asks…
my pc keeps freezing so I want to download convertxtodvd 2.2 on my mac where can I do that?
i bought it already but I bought it online so I didn’t get an actual disc they just sent me the serial code to type in. so where can I download the older version of convertxtodvd cuz the serial code i have doesn’t work on the new version thanks
Nagesh answers:
1. ConvertXtoDVD is strictly a Windows program so downloading to a MAC is out of the question unless (perhaps) your Mac is Intel based and running a Windows emulator.
2. If your license key isn’t working, you may be typing it incorrectly. Try using the ‘copy’ and ‘paste’ function to enter the key. If it still doesn’t work, contact VSO software at this link:
http://www.vso-software.fr/contactform.php?topic=license
and they will send you a new license key at the email address they have for you.
3. After you installed ConvertXtoDVD, did you restart your computer before doing ANYTHING else (at least once, preferrably twice)??? If not, restart your computer – TWICE!
4. After you installed ConvertXtoDVD, did you register your copy/installation? (This step often triggers an automatic update to software.)
5. Before you tried to use ConvertXtoDVD, (assuming the answer to #2 is yes), did you check for any updates or patches? In the last three weeks, these patches have been available:
ConvertXtoDVD – 3.1.2.34 – Released the 1st of July 2008

– 0001939: [Bug] freeze during title set operation (wesson)
If you haven’t, download them now!
6. Before you purchased ConvertXtoDVD, did you check to make sure your computer meets ALL the minimum requirements which are:
Hardware:
Processor Intel Pentium® III / AMD Athlon
(Intel Pentium® 4 / AMD Athlon XP or equivalent recommended)
512 MB RAM with Windows 2000 or XP
1 GB RAM with Windows Vista
Hard disk drive with at least 4.3 Gbytes free
Video card with DirectX 9.0c support
DVD Burner
Software
Windows® 2000 SP4, Windows® XP SP2 or Windows Vista™
Microsoft® DirectX® 9.0c
7. Do you have nvidia nforce drivers installed on your computer? If you do, you need to update your drivers at:
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
8. Is any part of your computer overclocked? MOBO? Video Card? If so, one of them is overheating and causing the freeze.
9. Finally, are you running ZoneAlarm Firewall? If so, restart your computer, disable ZoneAlarm and then try to run ConvertXtoDVD. If it runs OK, ZoneAlarm is the problem and I suggest you make sure you have all the latest updates, then go to their user forums for help.
Ken asks…
Would 3ds games be compatible with DSi and Ds?
I know if it is compatible it wont be 3d but i dont care i just want to play it.
UPDATE: then screw 3ds if its not compatible cuz imma not waste my money on another crap handheld
Nagesh answers:
You’re question is confusing… No 3DS games aren’t compatible with old DS systems(DS Phat, DS Lite, DSi, DSi XL). It’s a completely new system.
Although, DS games are compatible compatible on 3DS. This was announced by Nintendo a long time ago.
“In addition to its own software, the Nintendo 3DS will be backward compatible with Nintendo DS software, including DSi software. At launch, the Nintendo 3DS cards will hold up to 8GB of game data and look almost exactly the same as those of the current DS. However, there is a small tab jutting out on the one side, most likely to prevent 3DS cards from being inserted in a Nintendo DS.” –Wikipedia
Here’s a good place to check that:

Or at their official site:

Some FACTS, NOT OPINIONS, about 3DS:
Although it’s not out yet, the 3DS is the first glasses-free 3D gaming device in the market(like the ones in theaters minus the glasses). It also supports multimedia, motion control, touch-screen, 3 cameras, and Wi-Fi. It is also compatible with the DS software and DSi wares.
Some 3DS features (there’s more that weren’t announced by Nintendo) you may not know:
The 3DS graphics is the closest handheld gaming device that comes close to 360/PS3 graphical wise(you gotta see it to believe it; specs don’t count), it supports 2 screens, 1st screen as a 3D screen without glasses(it’s real and it works, you can also turn off the 3D if you want 2D), 2nd screen as a touch-screen, compatible with the old generations of DS softwares, gyroscope, accelerometer, audio player, 3 cameras(one inside, and two outside), capable of taking 2D/3D photos and capturing 2D/3D videos, 2D/3D movie playback, multitasking(i.e. You can access web browser while playing a game), Virtual Console Service(which was not available with the DSi/DSi XL) and some 3D remakes of classic retro games(GB, GBC, GBA, NES, SNES, and more), also compatible with DSi Wares, 3DS Mii Plaza (Mii creation), augmented reality games, CrossPass” (which can automatically seek and connect to wireless network nodes such as Wi-Fi hotspots, sending and downloading information in the background while in sleep mode or while playing a game), 3D TV streaming(only available in Japan at the moment), e-book reader, better online capabilities, video chat, shop channel, web browser (and anything you do on the web like mail, facebook, etc.), and more which weren’t fully announced by Nintendo. Plus the games are longer and are quality games.
Here’s a video that explains how the 3D works:

Some games that will be coming out for it:
Metal Gear Solid 3, Super Street Fighter IV, Resident Evil: Revelation, Resident Evil: Mercenaries, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Times, Kid Icarus, Paper Mario, Star Fox 64, Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright, Mario Kart, Kingdom Hearts series, Final Fantasy series, Dead or Alive 3D, Ninja Gaiden, Samurai Warriors 3D, Assassin’s Creed: Lost Legacy, Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell, Call of Duty, Megaman Legends 3, and more. There will also be 3DS ware games, like Cave Story.

Just in case you go “where’s the 3D!?” it won’t work on your computer screen, you gotta see it in person to see the 3D.
Few of the games that will be coming out for it:
Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition:
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater:
Professor Layton VS Phoenix Wright

Chris asks…
How Much will the Nintendo 3DS Cost?
I am STOKED for the new Nintendo 3DS, which should hit stores late next Feb. I’m wondering how much they’ll cost.
Nagesh answers:
Here’s the expected release date for Japan, North America, Europe and Australia:
* JP February 26, 2011
* NA March 2011
* EU March 2011
* AUS March 2011
There’s no price for it in North America/Europe/Austrailia, yet, but it will be ¥25,000(yen) in Japan (around $300 US).
Speculations are thinking that it might be less than $300 since the older DSes(DS Phat, DS Lite, DSi, DSi XL) were $40-60 less than that of the Japan release price. Maybe the same price as PSP Go at launch.
Features you may have missed:
Graphics almost comparable with the 360/PS3(you gotta see it to believe it; specs don’t count), 3D without glasses(you can turn it off if you don’t want 3D), compatible with the old generations of DS softwares, gyroscope, accelerometer, touch-screen, capable of taking 2D/3D photos and capturing 2D/3D videos, 2D/3D movie playback, multitasking(i.e. You can access web browser while playing a game), Virtual Console Service(which was not available with the DSi/DSi XL) and some 3D remakes of classic retro games(GB, GBC, GBA, NES, SNES, and more), also compatible with DSi Wares, 3DS Mii Plaza (Mii creation), augmented reality games, CrossPass” (which can automatically seek and connect to wireless network nodes such as Wi-Fi hotspots, sending and downloading information in the background while in sleep mode or while playing a game), 3D TV streaming(only available in Japan at the moment), e-book reader, better online capabilities, video chat, and more which weren’t fully announced by Nintendo.
Plus, the games that will be coming out for it (Metal Gear Solid 3, Super Street Fighter IV, Resident Evil: Revelation, Resident Evil: Mercenaries, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Times, Kid Icarus, Paper Mario, Star Fox 64, Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright(you heard that right), Mario Kart, Kingdom Hearts series, Final Fantasy series, Dead or Alive 3D, Ninja Gaiden, Samurai Warriors 3D, Assassin’s Creed: Lost Legacy, Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell, Call of Duty, Megaman Legends 3, and more) already beats the whole PSP software.
