Well. If you are looking for the most bang for your buck, the core is the way to go. It doesnt come with all the accesories the other two do, but will still play all those games you love. And for like $30-$40 you can get a 512 memory card and save all your games ($100 for the Hard drive)

the premium would be best for you if you are an online gamer, looking for wireless controller play, and want the HD so you can download demos, games, tv and movies from marketplace(just a couple at a time) its the exact same console as the core but for a few small things and one BIG thing. The premium console has a silver faceplate on the DVD drive, now comes with HDMI (whoopty doo unless you own a 50+ inch HD TV that will work in 1080p) the BIG thing i mentioned is the new heatsink that was recently added to the GPU (the graphics proccesor) to keep the temp down in the 360. This new heatsink is there to hopefully get rid of the red ring of death that so many MS customers have run into.

The Elite is the console if you are a hardcore gamer looking for online game play, wireless controllers, and serious download space. The big hard drive allows you to download tv shows and movies and hang on to them for a bit, it also allows you to be able to get all those arcade games onto the console so you can play old shoot em ups and pretty much any old game you loved when you were real young. It is a beautiful black color, which (IMO only) looks soooo much better. It has HDMI, which again, you can use just the composite cables and unless you have a huge TV you wont see the difference between 720p and 1080i.

If i were you, and had the money, was a pretty serious gamer and a 360 fan, i would go for the elite. But i think the premium is more than enough system for common gamers

1) Yes. Windows XP, Vista, and 7 has Paint.

2) Yes again. It has a port for SD sticks(which are used in most camera’s and such), USB flash drives, and is able to download pictures, movies, music from the web. All you have to do is drag and drop.

3) Not really. It is just as fragile as a regular laptop. It has moving parts like the hard drive and the screen. Too me the build quality of this netbook is solid. But the screen casing in the center area between the 2 hinge flexes a bit. But it does not feel/look like it is flexing along with the screen itself. Be careful when applying heavy pressure in that area. As long as you handle it with care, it will be fine.

4) Taking apart this netbook is pretty simple. There are various tutorials on Youtube on how to do so and fix the problem.

5) Mines came with a 3 cell battery which lasts about 3-5 hours with 2nd to the lowest brightness setting, Wifi off, Power Saver settings and 1 window for watching movies from my hard drive. With Wifi on, around 3-4 hours which is enough for me for researching and downloading. If you want a longer battery life a 6 cell will give you a boost to 6-10 hours of low intensive computing.

6) The standard price for the newest model, HP mini 210-3000 version costs $300 with a single core atom N455. I bought mines for $350 off the HP site for a customization with a Dual Core N570. IMO its worth the upgrade. My comp lags slightly with virus scanning or updates/installing going on in the back ground while I do my thing online. I can imagine that it will be be noticeably lagging during those times.

7) IMO its worth it for entertainment use. The beats audio which I love is clear and decently loud with good base. Also the chicklet keys are comfortable to use even for use. Although the keyboard is small, you will get used to it. The screen is nice and easy to clean but reflective in lighted area’s such as outside during daytime. And of course, the touch pad. The other models has a different touch pad like a full integrated track pad built along with the L/R button. But this 1 is separate and its more easy and comfortable to use then the older models.

The reason why I included the older models (HP mini 210-1000,2000,3000) is because most local stores only have the old series and not the new ones in stock. So you may have to buy it online or somewhere else that has them.

It lets you use a backup program that’s the actual jailbreak and copy a disc to play from the hdd instead of the disc
only an original playstation 3 blu-ray disc will copy – not a downloaded or copied game . No movies either .
That means you still need to buy or rent a game to copy it
you can’t update your ps3 to 3.50 or higher if using it
that means no psn , no online and no new games can be played because they’ll need firmware updates . If you update it will either brick the system or you’ll be banned from psn for use of unauthorized software .

Games like mgs4 , gow3 , ff13 etc. Are 35 to 40 gigabytes so with a 120 gig ps3 you’d get maybe 3 games on it .
In a year you’ll still be playing the same 2 year old games when your friends are playing call of duty mw3 or killzone 3 .

You’ll need a S-Video on your TV or other electronic device like DVD player and Computer.

If you have these just connect a S-Video Cord from Computer to TV and on your TV remote, switch to a Video Mode that shows your computer.

If this doesn’t work, you need a software driver on your computer to split screens, Computer and TV that is.

As for the colored coded cords you were talking about, you may also need a similar driver or separate driver or maybe theres a problem with the driver.

You can download graboid at graboid.com and when you sign up you can get a free 10kMB so you can watch 10 movies for free. Its legal and you can watch movies that arent out in dvd yet but it might have poor quality depending on how old it is. If its new out in theaters its rlly bad quality but if on dvd it should be fine
