Can I connect my computer to the TV to watch Divx movies?
What kind of cables do I need? Names please. I have downloaded divx movies to my computer but need to connect them to my plasma so I can watch them easily. Please tell me what I need to buy for the same.

Yes.
One rca (component) cable usually comes in a bunble of three, red white and yellow. For stereo audio(2) and video(1). You only need one.
I bought 15 feet of all 3 for 8 bucks on ebay
one component connector on the tv for video in.
For older tv’s with only coaxil input you’ll need to buy an RF modulator at any common tv/eletronics department
I have a radeon ati 9200se video card. Its not the best video card for games, but it allows me to pump movies to my tv.
It has “tv out” component style and it was cheep about 30 bucks on pricewatch.com
It works great. Movies even look better on the tv
total cost about 40$
ok its not the best picture you can get, but it will work.
S video is probably a better way to go. Check elvenhood

I downloaded Netflix for Wii then deleted it from my channels. How do I get it back?
I downloaded it from the Shop Channel last night, then deleted it so my 5 year old brother wouldn’t watch random movies while I‘m not home. Now I can‘t find it on my console and can only get it back by downloading again. Is there any other way to hide it from the channels? Is downloading more than once going to take up more memory?

To get it back you must download it again. No, it will not take up extra memory if you download it again. As for another way to hide it, simply get an SD card ( either buy one at the store or most digital cameras have them) and save the channel to it and delete it only from the wii menu, not the sd card. Then when you want to watch movies simply go to the little thing saying sd card and click on netflix.

I‘m a 15 yr old girl and im at home ill. I‘m downloading some films but Ive ran out of ideas. I like chick flicks like mama mia and the holiday.

Homemade gift with theme of classic movies?
My dad really likes old movies, and I‘m VERY short on money, so I thought I could do something with “old movies” in mind. Maybe a collage? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Make him a homemade DVD with Windows Movie Maker and add clips of the old movies in it from youtube. You can download a free program that you can get movies off of youtube. Once you have the movies into your computer, then you can make the DVD. You can also personalize it.
It would take some time, but he would enjoy it.
