Your Questions About Download Old Movies Songs

Richard asks…

Is there an alternative to iPod 2 iPod as it won’t work with my new iPod Touch?

Is there an alternative to this, because after downloading iPod 2 iPod, it became apparent to me that this does not work with the iPod Touch 2nd Generation. I really need to transfer my songs from my old iPod Nano to my new iPod Touch 2g. Please help.

Thanks.

You can try this software to backup the stuffs in your iPod/iPhone/iTouch. Recover lost or missing music, backup and restore all of your iPod/iPhone/iTouch content, including your favorite songs, videos, photo files and Play Lists, and that’s not all. It is easy to transfer your ipod movie, music, photo to another iPod or iTunes with this iPod transfer software:

David asks…

How to move itunes account from one computer to another on the same network?

The computer I have my itunes and all my music and videos on is running out of memory causing it to take forever to download movies. i need to know how to move it from computer to computer..thanks 🙂

Nagesh answers:

You can authorize up to 5 computers with your iTunes account. I just moved the songs in my iTunes library from one computer to another using this brief tutorial:

http://hubpages.com/hub/move-iTunes-songs

It worked quite well, except that I recommend two additional steps.

1. Before you follow the tutorial, you may wish to consolidate your library first. Click “File”, and under “Library” select “consolidate library”. This will ensure that all the songs in your iTunes library are located in the “iTunes music” folder by copying files if necessary. You may get an error message if some songs cannot be found, but this shouldn’t affect purchased music.

2. Your playlists will not be saved using the above tutorial, but you can save your playlists one at a time to an external hard drive or flash drive. On your old computer, open iTunes and select one of your playlists. Under “File”, click “Library”, and select “Export playlist…” After saving the .txt file to the flash drive, open iTunes on the new computer and select “Import playlist…”

Maria asks…

How can I get my playlists off my iPod?

I recently rebuilt my computer and backed up my iTunes library along with all the songs. When I reinstalled iTunes and pointed it to the old Library file, it pulled in all my old information, except for my playlists. I still have those playlists on my iPod, is there any way to get the playlists off of there and back into iTunes? I don’t need the music files themselves, just the playlists.

Nagesh answers:

This is how I did. I used MediaWidget to move all library files from my iPod onto my computer and iTunes http://www.gutensoft.com/Utilities/MediaWidget.htm

It can transfer all iPod content to the iTunes on your computer, including iPod music, movies, playlists, videos, podcasts, ratings, last played, and more. It’s such a powerful one that many friends around me have used it for a long time. Easy and safe.

Now all files are on your computer and iTunes, you can sync your iPod with it smoothly without deleting any files.

Just free download it to try.
