Lisa asks…
I am looking for ‘THE WONDERFUL WIZARD OF OZ’ 1987 anime cartoon by L. Frank Baum. Does anyone have it?
I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find the old cartoon tv show “THE WONDERFUL WIZARD OF OZ” online?
You can purchase the dvd/s through Amazon but apparently it’s not the whole series. I think it might have been broken down into a movie or something. Anyway, I was hoping there might be a website that has it. I also know you can download it through some bittorent sites but they aren’t dubbed in English yet and I cannot speak a word of Japanese. You can get parts, or atleast the introduction, on youtube, but I was after the actual episodes.
I’m pretty sure from what I’ve been reading online that there may have been more than one series by the same title. I am after the one 1987 version that was based on some books by L. Frank Baum, and it originally ran on the Japanese Network tv (or so it says on tv.com). It consisted of about 52 episodes. It says that in 1987, HBO purchased the rights to the series and dubbed it into English, but I am only able to find the Japanese version so far.
If anyone has any info on it, I would be enormously grateful. I loved this series as a kid (The movie with Judy Garland is also one of my all time favourites too. I had it on video as a kid but wore it out from rewinding it and watching it like 10 times a day, lol. I now have it on dvd.)
Someone may even already have it on dvd and be willing to send me a copy????
Thanks in advance to all who answer.
Thanks for the answer Walter, but I’m actually after the cartoon series. I already have the movie, but thanks again.

Check Amazon. I’m CERTAIN you’ll find if for sale there.

Would anyone be interested in subtitling the anime Shoujo Cosette or helping me do it/get it from youku link?
Right. I’m 15 years old and a huge Les Miserables dork. It took me a few months to find the complete series online. I couldn’t even find the Japanese DVDs of it on amazon or youtube. The only problem is, I found them on Youku, and they’re in Japanese with Chinese subs.
The good thing is, I also happen to be a language dork. I’m learning Spanish and Chinese in school and French and Japanese out of school. I’m intermediate with Spanish, beginner in Japanese (but better than Chinese), and better with Chinese than French.
So, I’d be interested in in subtitling the episodes myself. Except, I tried downloading them using clipnabber, and it won’t work. Also, the only video editor I have is Windows Movie Maker, and I have no experience making videos at all.
So, what I’m asking: Would anyone be interested in translating the episodes into English and posting them on youtube/veoh? Or provide step by step instructions on how to download them using clipnabber from youku. Also, is it possible to subtitle ready made videos with Windows Movie Maker?

Good sized hardrive for PS3?
Ok some im getting a new PS3 and its going to be the SLIM, don’t want the fat PS3 as its older. Might as well get whats new. So theres the 160, 250, and 320 GB HDD. I don’t plan on loading movies, music or pictures on it just mainly for gaming and online content like game downloads, demos, and DLC. I think 160 will be enough as i have a 60 GB HDD for my Xbox 360 and its enough to keep me satisfied. I mean i want to save a little money and i don’t think a huge hardrive is really necessary
Nagesh answers:
I think a 160gb slim will be a good choice. If you run out of space, you can easily upgrade to a 500 gb hard drive for 60-70 bucks. I upgraded myself and it was easy and relatively painless to do so.
Michael asks…
Why is it that even after I install the xvid codec the video webpage keeps saying I need to install it?
I’m trying to watch an older movie online but I can’t unless i install the xvid codec but even after I install it it says I need to install it to see it. But thing is I had already installed it and it’s like it doesn’t do anything to the browser or the browser isn’t detecting it.
What’s going on?
Nagesh answers:
Rule of the internet, websites will NEVER need a video codec, all websites need to play video are flash, java and silverlight. The site you are on is attempting to trick you, or you may have already done so is downloading and installing malware. Quit trying to view “free” movies and scan your entire PC for virus and malware infections, or else you will be right back here asking why my PC doesn’t boot, or I “didn’t” install it but I have a message saying I need to install an antivirus software.

How to remove old movies from the memory?
When I try to play a still downloading movie -I’m sometimes impatient :)-, sometimes the VLC reverts back to a movie that I watched in the past.
But that is odd because those movies have already been deleted long ago. So how could they still be playing? Is there a way I could delete the imprint?
I’m afraid it might take up much of the hard drive.
Thanks for your help!
I’ve tried to search for the movies, but they do not show up

You should try Ccleaner
CCleaner is a system optimizer, privacy and cleaning tool. It removes unused files from your system – allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities such as your Internet history. Additionally it contains a fully featured registry cleaner.
I’ve been using it for years.
