What you’re asking isn’t possible. Downloading any file that’s under copyright (this includes movies) without paying for it is illegal. You’re basically asking how you can rob a bank legally, when the act is a crime in and of itself. There is no legal way to do something illegal.
If the file is not under copyright, that’s fine. It’s perfectly legal to download home movies people have shot of their cats. Commercial movies cannot be downloaded without paying.

Is it illegal to watch movies online ?
I kno uploading & downloading movies are illegal thats why I don’t do it. I would like to know however is watching movies online (streaming) legal or illegal. If I were to say watch a film or live tv stream online would I breaking any law afterall I’m not downloading/uploading nam I hosting the files/links?????

Not illegal at all, that is how Netflix works. Many websites have streaming video, not illegal.

Try www.letmewatchthis.com. It’s a great website just type in the movie name and then click a link called stagevu from there you can download the movie easy and fast.

Any distro of linux would work because the operating system is open source and alot of people are starting to catch on to its features. Try searching for Ubuntu, Red Hat, Knoppix. Otherwise if your looking for videos I would recommend Elephants Dream. It is the first fully animated film to released free to the public in full hd quality most torrents sites have about 18,000 seeds and even more leechers.

Im kind of new at this and have just started downloading movies (legal) but can’t find any software that I can use to burn my movies to DVD. Remember I need something that is for dummies step by step guides as you go through the process. Im older and disabled and can’t get out much so the internet is my outside traveling world.

You may take a look at this step by step guide, it will teach you how to convert and burn movie to DVD. I followed it and successfully burned DVD to play on my home DVD player, it’s easy to understand, I think it deserves a try.
