Sharon asks…
I lost one of my DVDs and I was wondering if it’s legal to download a copy of the movie.?
I seem to remember being told by someone that it’s legal as long as you have purchased the movie, but I want to be sure before I download.
Nagesh answers:
Its not legal…think of it this way. If you lost a watch, can you go back to the store and just take the same type of watch you bought before and leave the store? No. Its the same with movies, once you buy it if you lose it you have to pay for it as if you never had it before just like the rest of us.

Ken asks…
How safe is tube-reactor to download movies?
I’ve been searching like crazy for Miyazaki films, and I believe tube-reactor has them. I don’t mind paying for them, they are worth it + it’s the legal thing to do. I just want to make sure its a safe site. Also does anyone know how much each movie costs?
Thanks for the input

Read a review of Tube-Reactor here: http://www.cheapfilms.net/2009/06/tube-reactor-review.html
That should help.

Michael asks…
Are all of the downloads on Download.com legal?
Recently i’ve been serching of Cnet’s download.com and I found a piece of software that enables you to watch and download movies and tv episodes. I started to wonder whether this was lega lor not- and whether all of the software on download.com was legal!
HELP!
Nagesh answers:
I think it is a legal download site. I believe that the software they offer actually came from their respective publishers itself, but they are usually for trial purposes only and others are freewares. If you want the full version, you have to pay for it.

Linda asks…
is downloading movies from pspiso legal?
if it is not what would be the consequences
Nagesh answers:
It is not legal although many many people do it.
Very few people have EVER suffered consequences however the RIAA has made an example of a few people with really heavy fines $20,000+ and a few people were even sent to prison.
Those people who were made an example of had ridiculously extensive file collections and were also cause of spreading the files. They don’t mess around with anyone in general though, especially not a small-time user.
Nothing will probably happen to you, but there is an ethical issue at play though.
