Weird computer fan noise?
So my computer has started doing this noise, sounds like a fan pulling air but just sounds like a fan. This started about 5 days ago, it began when I started downloading iTunes movies i bought, I’ve bought 5 only 2 have downloaded.I leave my computer on for about 8 hours a day. Before I bought the movies it worked fine because it wasn’t downloading anything big, I would just surf the internet and download songs. Can someone tell me why this noise is happening? Is it because my computer is about to die? Or just because its downloading a big file? My computer is about 6-7 years old, an HP Pavillion Slimline s3700z. Thank You 😀

Good chance its just your cooling fan, the one on my computer speeds up and down according to what the motherboard tells it to do, and if I’m putting enough load on it playing a game it sounds like the fan is sucking air in, it hasn’t done it in a while though. What you need to do from time to time is pull off the cover of the computer and clean all the dust out of there, be careful not to damage anything. If it 6-7 years old good chance you have quite a bit of dust on the heatsink and everything else, which will make it harder to cool off. So my suggestion is pull the cover off and look it over, if its dusty clean it out a vacuum with a hose will work, make sure you check the cooling fan by the processor make sure its clean. Also if it’s in a room thats hot its going to be working harder to cool off, your supposed to keep computers in a cool controlled environment. I’ve noticed mine is louder in the summer if its warm out and the a/c isn’t on, if there air is on then its not bad.

I heard this instrumental while grocery shopping. It was SO familiar that it drove me a little nuts. (I think it was in a lot of movies). The song had a lot of trumpets (I think) playing and drums. It was also very danceable. I’m just looking for the name of it, who made it, and where I could listendownload it.

On my old computer, I download about $100 worth of purchases.
That computer crashed, and I bought a new one, on my iPod I only have the songs, and tv shows. I bought 2 movies, that arent on it. How do I get all my purchases back onto my new computer, and new iTunes?
