Download speed too low! Please help!?
Hello everyone,
So, basically, about a week ago, my dad bought a brand new ASUS router, ASUS modem and a very fast 10mb/s UPC high speed internet connection, Before, at home, we has some sort of old router/modem and a slow internet providor, and our internet was very slow(download about 150kb/s).
I was really happy, because I will finally be able to download at a really high speed, Play online games smoothly and watch movies online in HD.
The first two weeks, everything worked fine, our download was about 450 kb/s.
But suddenly, A couple days later, Our download speed rapidly decreased. Although our connection speed was still good, our download speed was only about 20kb/s. Which meant downloading a movie or a song took ages. I thought this has something to do with UPC decreasing the download speed on illegal websites, But even official microsoft or other websites has a really slow download speed. I am not downloading from torrents or anything, and I know whats the difference between kilobits and kilobites. I just need some useful answers!
I will be grateful for every answer! :
Thanks 🙂

Have you run your anti-virus software over and over in hopes of your computer running faster, but never works. I’ll give you another option to try.
Run disk de-fragment
Step1
In the bottom left hand corner of your screen there will be the “start” button. Click on it.
Step2
Move the mouse just up from the start button and hold the mouse cursor(arrow) over “all programs”.
Step3
Another set of menus will appear, hold your mouse cursor over “accessories” .
Step4
Another set of menus will appear, hold your mouse cursor over “system tools”.
Step5
A set of programs will appear, select “Disk Defragmenter”.
Step6
When this screen pops up, select “defragment”. When this screen pops up, select “defragment”.
Step7
Now you have to wait for the defragmentation process which can take up to a couple of hours.
Step8
When finished, you can view the report if you wish. It tells you how much space you’ve opened up.

Is there any way for me to sync my iPod touch to another computer without losing files?
I bought an iPod touch in August, and since then I have gotten around 700 songs on it, and downloaded at least 100 games. My computer broke a couple of weeks ago so I can’t sync my iPod onto that itunes library anymore because it’s gone. I wanted to put on more songs but it said I have to erase all my old games and songs and movies first. I’m really mad because it took me months to get those songs, and my new computer only has 20 or so songs on it, is there any way for me to keep all my old files and still download more songs onto my iPod?
Nagesh answers:
Yes, if you directly click sync, it will erase all music on the iPod and replace with the content of your iTunes library.
But here is a solution. All you need is to get all existing music/videos from the iPod onto your computer and iTunes. Simply use this popular program called Tansee iPod Transfer
http://www.gutensoft.com/Utilities/Tansee-iPod-Transfer.htm
The whole process is easy and safe.
With just a few simple clicks, it will help you copy all videos/songs from iPod back to your selected folder on your computer, and then you can easily add those songs back to iTunes. See detailed guide.
More importantly, this won’t overwrite any original files on the iPod. And all song names are preserved.
In this case, all songs/videos (both new and old) are on your iTunes library that you can syn with whenever you wish to without deleting any files.
Here is step-by-step guide on the whole process:

Best luck!

Limewire…Do I get it?
I’ve had it before on my old computer and been fine. I only download songs, NOT movies or pictures or anything and I only download the ones with most users. Like, if I song has 2 users i won’t get it.
Also I have mcAfee and have never got a virus from it before.
Butt, Is there anything better? And people say that your computer gets destroyed from limewire cause anti virus can’t pick up the viruses and they get into your system.
butI REALLy want music! And I dnt have an ipod so I cant use itunes. Too much hassle putting all the songs onto cd’s and stuff.
Nagesh answers:
Go with Frostwire, and be careful what you download. If it looks wrong, or the file size is too small, avoid it. And, yes, McAfee is not a good antivirus. Even the freeware version of Avira is better (and far less intrusive and system resource heavy).

how to download old tamil songs and movies for free?
can i download mp4 player movies and songs in q realplayer
Nagesh answers:
I use BitComet, a free bit-torrent client which covers just about everything from movies to TV shows to music to software (I downloaded as copy of 64-bit Win 7 Ultimate all activated and ready to go for nothing from there), but you’d better get an IP-hiding program installed first so you don’t get fingered by the Internet Nazis. I use FreeHideIP which is, as the name implies, free, unless you want to upgrade to the “pro” version for only $19.95 (highly recommend doing this as it’s far more effective and will randomly select a bogus IP address for you from all over the world and you can program it to change your IP address as often as you like…I use 5 minutes)…You can’t get busted if you can’t be tracked, right? I love it, Ever since installing it, I never get ay of those pesky dunning notices from my ISP about copyright infringement ’cause they don’t know it’s me doing the downloading. Can’t pull my account if they can’t implicate me, right? There are lots of IP-concealing programs out there, many of which are freeware. I used HideMyIp for a while but they kept wanting to charge me a new fee every time they “upgraded” their program, and I finally said screw it.
Have fun! It’s YOUR Internet, man! Don’t ever forget it!
