Your Questions About Download Old Movies Songs

Charles asks…

How do I retrieve iTunes bought songs?

Well, my computer died along with all of my songs on it, and my iPod shortly afterwards, so after spending money on a new PC and iPod I downloaded iTunes and authorized my computer. Only problem now is that I can’t download all of my old songs that I had bought. I’ve spent about £500 on music and another £700 on a new iPod and PC. Only to find that all my media is not accessible. If anyone can tell me how I can access this stuff I would be grateful forever. I also spent about £200 on movies and TV shows, to lose these would also be a shame. It’s just so terrible to see all of this go down the drain.

Thanks in advance

Once downloaded you can’t re-download iTunes music. I.e. Once it’s on your drive it’s your liability which is why iTunes recommends you backup your music store. I know this is probably not what you want to hear but assuming your old drive is completely gone then so is your music I am afraid.

Is the drive from your old PC accessible? I.e. Can you connect the drive from your old PC to your new PC? This is surprisingly easy to do and it may be that the drive still works despite your old PC being unusable. You could then copy all your music files to your new drive in your new PC.

Lastly, make sure you backup your new PC!

Betty asks…

Is it possible to save the movies/songs that are bought from iTunes store to another location on the computer?

Hello,

I’ve recently bought a movie off of the iTunes store and had it downloaded to iTunes, but with my recent purchase of a new iPod touch, I’ve decided to un-install my older version of iTunes, and update to the current version. Little did I know that when I did so, my songs were wiped from iTunes (not that it is a problem because I can import the songs again). The problem were with the previous movies I’ve purchased off of the iTunes store. They were wiped too, and no where to be found.

I know that when I buy something off of iTunes store, it is saved into your iTunes. My question is, is it possible that if I were to purchase something again…that I can save it to another location (just to be safe)?

Thanks for your help! :]

There is a step by step guide remove the DRM protection and to burn DRM protected iTunes videos/movies/TV shows to DVD playable on home DVD player and enjoy on the widescreen TV. What you need to do are just two steps:
1. Remove DRM protect from purchased iTunes video/movie/TV show to unprotected video.
2. Burn the non-protected video to DVD.

with the 60 gig pro xbox 360 can i…?

rip music from cd’s and rip movies download songs for guitar hero world tour and play old xbox games?

Nagesh answers:

No you cant rip CDs or Movies directly but you can rip them to your PC and stream via Windows Media Centre or do what I do and put them on a portable hard drive or USB drive and then connect it to your xbox.

As for downloading songs for Guitar Hero you have to buy them from the xbox live market place. I think there is a few free ones but not many.

For playing old Xbox games only certain ones are backwards compatible. Here is a list of the ones that work: http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/games/backwardcompatibilitygameslist.htm
