The internet is one of the United States most strong and thriving industries. It enables free and open communication among millions. According to CNN, Congress started holding hearings about Protect I.P act and this bill has the potential to pass. Government can order service providers to block websites for infringing links posted by a user. People have gotten sued for posting links on how to burn CDs of songs you have downloaded.
Private corporations want the ability to shut down unauthorized sites where people download movies, tv shows and music. This bill will also allow companies to sue other companies in case they aren’t doing their filtering well enough. This could bankrupt search engines and social media sites. I personally do not pirate movies or music but I do go youtube and listen to music that soon could get censored. Under this law, it would become a felony and can get sentenced for a 5 year period in jail for streaming a copywrited work or be singing a song on youtube or facebook. I’m not the only one against this bill but big companies like Google, Youtube and Yahoo are afraid because there is a possibility they will get shut down. This can get the government to screw up the internet, mess with domain names and threaten the security and stability of global domains. The internet is a vital place and the government is messing with its basic structure so the entertainment companies will make more money than the internet.
Use your voice and email your congressman and sign a petition at act.demandprocess.org while you can. If this bill passes Youtube and Google may no longer exist and lets not allow entertainment companies gain any more money than they already do. how do i get free music for my windows live movie maker?

I don’t really want to do the illegal download thing, i just want a few songs for my windows live movie maker, i have to make a presentation for my class, and i want the song/music that they ussually play in the back ground on those old time information commercials, if that makes any sense…lol can anyone help me out? is there a site where you can get songs for your windows live movie maker?

Im not TOO tech savy, but only a little, so try to be as clear as you can with the directions.

I wish i had a better way of explaining the music i want, if any one has ever watched “that 70s show”, then when they do like the little skit where they are teaching something and its like a commercial, the music that plays in the background is what im looking for really. if that makes any sense…lol
