where can i get a quick and easy payday loan?
I need a one time payday loan and I don’t have direct deposit w/ my bank. where can i get a payday loan without having to have direct deposit?
Nagesh answers:
Wow, I see this question has drawn quite a bit of spam. Well first when deciding to get a payday loan you should evaluate your needs. Payday loans really need to be your last option or when absolutely needed. The interest rates for payday loans are extremely high and are often called a “trap.” They provide a great service however when you are in a tight situation and need cash fast.
To get an online payday loan all you need is a phone number, address, and proof of income. This will allow you to get a no fax payday loan which is even easier. You can get a faxless loan without ever having to get off of the couch. If you plan on getting a payday loan in your State then I recommend you head to this site http://paydayloanpilot.com/payday-loan-laws and find out the laws for your State.
Online is easier but you may be able to get a more competitive rate depending on where you live.

how do I switch direct deposit accounts for the IL link card?
Nagesh answers:
State of Illinois
Department of Human Services
Direct Deposit (pdf)
Did you know that you can choose to have your cash benefits deposited directly into an account at a financial institution instead of into your Illinois Link account? A “financial institution” can be a bank, savings and loan, thrift or credit union. (Credit unions have special membership rules.)
Direct Deposit is the electronic transfer of your cash benefits, paycheck or other payments into your checking or savings account. If you already have an account, or if you open a new deposit account, you can use Direct Deposit. If you use Direct Deposit of cash benefits, you cannot use your Link card to get cash from your Direct Deposit Account. (You will still use your Link card for food benefits.)
Direct Deposit is safe.
Financial institutions are closely regulated under federal and state law. The money you deposit in an institution is safe from theft, loss and fire.
Direct Deposit is convenient.
You can withdraw the money in your account at a teller window, a drive-up window or an Automatic Teller Machine (ATM), or by cashing a personal check. Banks provide a written report each month showing all activity in your account that you can use to keep track of your expenses. Many banks offer an option to pay bills directly from your account.
Direct Deposit can save you money.
Keeping your money in a bank account is often cheaper than using other businesses to cash checks or buy money orders. Most banks do not charge account-holders a fee for using one of the bank’s own ATM machines.
Many financial institutions have basic, low-cost accounts. Some of the banks in Illinois offer basic, low-cost checking accounts. Shop around for an account that meets your needs. Be sure you understand the costs of any account that you choose.
Signing up for Direct Deposit is easy.
After you open an account, just ask your caseworker to help you fill out the forms that tell your bank and the State of Illinois Comptroller that you want your cash benefits directly deposited into your account.
It will take a couple of months to switch your cash benefits from Illinois Link to Direct Deposit.
You will continue to receive your cash benefits through Illinois Link until the Direct Deposit process is ready. Your cash benefits will usually be in your account on the same day that your food benefits are available through your Illinois Link card. If that day falls on a weekend or holiday, your cash benefits will be in your Direct Deposit account on the next workday.
You can use Direct Deposit for other payments, too. If you receive federal Social Security; Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or veteran’s benefits; or civil service, railroad or military retirement payments, ask your financial institution to have those payments directly deposited to your account.

Maria asks…
Tax Rebate Direct Deposit?
I checked the new link on the IRS’s website to check the status of the rebate. It said that I should get a check by mid June. Why are they sending a check when I used direct deposit for my refund? Nothing with my bank has changed, either…
Nagesh answers:
Several things can cause you to get a paper check rather ithan direct deposit. Including, but not limited to, if you used a service such as TurboTax and had the e-filing fee deducted from your refund, or if you used a RAL (rapid anticipation loan) or had your refund put on a debit card. Or, if you did not get a 2007 refund.
Jenny asks…
What is direct deposit?
I’m new here in US any my employer has direct deposit for payroll?
Can I give my account even if it’s TD bank?
My employer’s bank is Wells Fargo
Nagesh answers:
Almost all employers and banks prefer direct deposit – it saves them money. If your employer doesn’t offer the service your bank does and can work it out for you. You will need a paying job and bank account(s).
You will complete a form – either at your bank or with your employer – that authorizes your employer to deposit your net pay into an account. You can deposit all or a portion. And you can deposit into more than 1 account (checking / savings).
You can then have automatic payments from those accounts to pay rent/mortgage/auto loans, etc to help with budgeting and spending.
You will often get the funds into your account sooner with Direct Deposit versus taking a paycheck because of weekends/holidays/banking hours.
