Also, what is the recommended educational/job training path in order to become a UPS or Fedex pilot? Any programs that tend to be more successful than others?

The demand for commercial pilots is said to increase 5% this year. Obviously you have to go to flight school. Fedex pilots make $240.00 an hour.

What number do I call to find out if FedEx is holding my package?
I need to find out if FedEx is holding a package for me, is there like a 1-800 number I call or something?

The customer service number is 800-GO-FEDEX. The call center is open 24/7.
It’s possible they will be able to help you if you don’t have the tracking info, but I can’t guarantee it. (If you know which FedEx service has it, they may be able to call your local terminal and check.)

How can I get a non-driving job at FedEx involving traveling around the country?
I have a BBA with a 3.04 GPA. I also have one year of warehouse experience sorting mail. I’m willing to move to Memphis, TN, where FedEx is headquartered.
Tom Hanks’s character in the 2000 movie Cast Away had a job similiar to what I’m interested in.

You don’t have to move to memphis. FedEx has many major distribution points, Oakland, Newark, Indianapolis and Alaska are the biggest along with Memphis. I believe they have a crew of 2 or 3 that fly with the planes. Check their web site and search for jobs. The best way is to try and find out where they are doing on the job interviews. Resumes, especialyy from a big company like FedEx seem to go into oblivion.

How long does it take for FedEx ground to ship?
I order a ultrabook from amazon, i contact with the seller and he said that he shipped by FedEx and it should arrive in 4-6 days, but, when i looked up the tracking number, it said that the package was shipped in Bryan,TX. I live in Denton, TX and it only take about 3 hour of driving from bryan to denton, so, does it really take 3-5 days to ship between two location that can be reach in 5 hours?

If you have the tracking number you can visit Fedex’s website and get an exact date.

Are The Post Office and Fedex in the same industry sector?
We’ve got to compare two companies within an industry. I know Fedex is in the courier industry and the Post Office is in the postal industry, but aren’t these pretty much the same things, and would they be easy to compare?

No two companies in the same industry do everything they do exactly in the same way, nor do they all do the same exact things. This makes it difficult to do direct comparisons.
But yes, USPS and FedEx are in the same industry sector.
