What playoff style did the PGA tour have before the FedEx Cup?
I know the FedEx Cup is the current format, but before the FedEx cup, did the season just end?
Nagesh answers:
The Fedex Cup is the first playoff system for golf. They did it because after the PGA Tour Championship was over people wouldn’t tune in as much to the rest of the golf tournaments for the rest of the year. The PGA tour needed their ratings to go up so they started the FedEx cup to add some drama to the end of the season so more people would tune in. Also, the FedEx cup makes playing in and also winning tournaments more important.

How am i going to get my parcel from dhl or fedex if i’m always not at home daytime?
I recently intended to something online, they will use DHL or Fedex to deliver the goods to me but my worry is how will the DHL or Fedex do the delivery if I’m not at home? Usually i will not be at home during daytime, any recommendations to me how am i going to do if i wish to buy goods online? Thanks for your suggestions.

For FedEx:
Depending on where you live (house, apt) and the area, many deliveries are left for you whether you’re home or not.
Unless the shipper requests a signature or you live in a high-traffic area a signature will probably not be required. If an indirect signature is required, you can either sign the doortag after an attempt has been made, or leave a note asking to driver to leave your delivery – let him know where – and sign it. It will be waiting for you.
You also have the option of calling 800-GO-FEDEX and having your package diverted to where you will be or sent to a FedEx Office/Kinko’s location where you can pick it up at your leisure.
Good luck!

What to do when your fedex package is lost?
I ordered a package from a the gift store of a company and it when the FedEx guy came to deliver it at my place no one was there so they delivered it at my neighbors place. Unfortunately, the area where i live is not quite good. When i ask my neighbors they say they never got anything, and they think somebody was probably just sitting in front of their door and took the package.
How should I go from here?
Nagesh answers:
(1) Call 1-800 Go Fedex and ask to start a ‘Disputes Delivery case’. (Have the tracking number ready – be ready with the rest of your story and information)
(2) After you get off the phone with Fedex, contact your shipper (the gift store). Tell them what has happened and that you have started a ‘Disputes Delivery’ case with Fedex.
Ask them what their standard procedure is at this point. (If you are lucky, they will tell you that they will send a new item, and they will handle the case with Fedex and you are done… Best possible case.)
Fedex will do a brief investigation (depending somewhat on the declared value of the package) and will reimburse the *shipper* (not you) – as the contract they have is with the shipper. It is up to the *shipper* to make things right with you.
Write down *everything* about these phone calls – when you call, who you speak with, the number of the dispute delivery case, keep the tracking number, etc. If things seem to go haywire, or you cannot get good results, start asking to speak with a C.A.T. (customer advocacy team) representative. Save this as a a bit of a last resort, though.

What kind of benefits does a Fedex Handler receive?
My Fiance just got an offer from Fedex as a Handler Non-DOT at O’Hare Chicago,IL. Its $12.21/ hr 18-30 hr/wk. Does anyone know what kind of benefits this job might include?
Nagesh answers:
I believe you can use fedex.com to check current benefits. If it is concerned ‘permanent part-time’ there’ll be the same benefits as full-timers and couriers. I only difference I think is health insurance you do not recieve right away like FT you have to wait 90 days.
The benefits are just like any other company, I put a * by the ones you pay into. (alot are extremely cheap)
-*401k (match 1-5%)
-*Health(Last year $35 a month mainly 80/20 sometimes better)
-*Eyes/Denial
-Paid Vacation (giving out around July 1st (10 days for PT (40 hours), 4 paid days off for new hires if after july 1)
-Hotel/Airline discount
-Extreme shipping discount
-*Legal services
-paid sick days(5 days) (paid if unused)
-paid training
-tutition reimbursment
-alot of uniforms
thats probably more than you wanted to know. But its labor intensive work, but not hard work. Its a good workout depending your assignment. I enjoyed it as a college student.

How do I find my postal tracking number from Fedex?
I have a fedex tracking number but in order to reschedule my package i need to have a postal tracking number, how do i get it from Fedex?
Nagesh answers:
??
Why on earth would you need a *postal* tracking number to reschedule the pickup for a package you are getting from Fedex?
It doesn’t work like that.
Unless the package you are expecting is coming by Fedex SmartPost – in which case, the very long tracking number you received… Is a USPS tracking number.
And your *post office* would have your package – and would be the ones scheduling/rescheduling the delivery of your package.
