Is it illegal to buy games from direct2drive US if i’m from UK?
Hi , i wanted to buy a game from D2D but its only available on the US site so i got on but it says “This title is available for purchase in the United States and Canada, Only.” Would it be illegal to buy the game, is it worth it and thanks in advance!

It will only be available to customers in the USA and Canada for copyright reasons.
It wouldn’t be illegal for you to actually buy it but it would be illegal to use it, that’s the way it works with copyright. The retailers are unlikely to deliver the game to a customer outside of the USA or Canada, which sends you back to square one.

I bought titan quest and its expansion from direct2drive but for me to install it says I need cd1 what do I do
I am buying the game for the first time I am not patching it and because its direct2drive it has just a zipped file I have unzipped but says during the install to insert cd1 any suggestions or any help to get it running would be great 😀

Cd1 may be refering to the original game cd, quite a few expansions require data from the original game to install

Hey, the site says “10 AM PDT”.
Apparently this is 6:00 PM here in the UK. Despite it being 7:00, it still come’s up as pre-order on the site!

is it that simple or i mean do u just buy it, download it, then play at that place or do u buy it and then they ship it to u and then u play it? how does it work with that place?

I ordered the download version of the game “The Oblivian” for my dad from direct2drive. Can someone help?
He has attempted to play 4 times, but the game does not seem to be working. Once it goes through “opening scenes” the screen goes completely white. No characters, no nothing. The game then shuts down because of an error. The first time he needed to download a patch, but that did not help. According to direct2drive this is Dad’s problem. They have been paid, so too bad!

Even though oblivion is a year old or close to it, it is still a very hardware demanding game. Make sure the computer you are using is powerful enough. After that, be sure the games patches are up to date. If it still doesn’t work, update the drivers on your video card. If you had Specs. For your computer it might help.
