How do I convert AVI files to mpg files for watching movies I have downloaded?
I downloaded a movie, but i can only read/watch mgp.. and they are all in AVI.. Is there something I can download to watch AVI video, or a way I can convert it to MGP to watch them? Thanks!

Hi, If you really enjoy watching downloaded videos from the web then you may need to get a program that can handle most of the different formats that exist. I have two VG programs you should look into. 1: Media Player Classic- This player Coupled with the “XP Codec Pack” will handle several media formats without much problem just make sure you get both.(PS. It may look like the old wmp, its not) 2: VLC Player- this is an all-in-one, nothing else to add, useful for anime, Good program, if this won’t play a video than nothing will.

Do they show a lot of hollywood or western made movies on Chinese TV?
or is it more of a smaller cult audience, like asian movies in the west? i‘m just curious.
Nagesh answers:
They do show a lot of Hollywood movies on Chinese TV. Most Chinese students have seen the newest Hollywood action movies as soon as you by downloading them or buying them for less than $1 on pirated DVD. If you flip through TV Channels at any given hour, you can probably find a Hollywood movie (either dubbed in Chinese or with subtitles).
Virtually all Chinese people really really love the TV series Prison Break for some reason. The main actor is a major celebrity here, bigger than any other Hollywood star you can name. Every Chinese kid has seen that movie “Wanted” with Angelina Jolie, for instance. They love this kind of stuff and see it as soon as it comes out. Older stuff plays on TV, and I’m sure Prison Break doesn’t air at exactly the same time.
They really like Hong Kong and mainland Chinese movies too. Every college kid knows Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Jet Li, John Woo, Ang Li, etc.

How can I connect my Xbox 360 to my computer to watch movies?
I used to use Windows Media Connect but for some reason it won’t connect anymore. I think it is because I have Windows XP 2002 and the new version of Windows Media Connect isn’t compatible with XP 2002. Is there another program that works? What’s wrong with the old version of Media Connect? It there a way to download the new version with my system? I am in dire need of my movies.
