Even if the film is freely distributed over the internet or free television broadcast, it is still illegal to distribute it over a file sharing program like Limewire. You don’t have the right to freely distribute the films, sorry.

when you purchase a movie, say, The Dark Knight, is it legal for you download The Dark Knight off the internet? I thought you would have rights to view it privately, does that include downloads, or am I being dumb?
