Unit Vector of Direction?
A 0.55 kg block of ice is sliding by you on a very slippery floor at 2.5 m/s. As it goes by, you give it a kick perpendicular to its path. Your foot is in contact with the ice block for 0.0025 seconds. The block eventually slides at an angle of 25 degrees from its original direction (labelled in the diagram). The overhead view shown in the diagram is approximately to scale. The arrow represents the average force your toe applies briefly to the block of ice.
What is the unit vector in the direction of the block’s momentum after the kick?

To get x-direction take cos of the angle
the y direction is zero
and the z direction is cos of (25+90)

Direction of vectors?
A car is driven east for a distance of 52 km, then north for 35 km, and then in a direction 26° east of north for 27 km. What is the direction?
I found the magnitude but I have no idea how to find the direction.

OOPS I MADE A MISTAKE
to find the direction you have to use tangent
Tangent A = y/x
take y as the north direction
and take x as the east direction
the Y = 35 + 27 cos 26
Y = 59.3
X = 52 + 27 sin 26
X = 63.8
so have the components i am thinking they are right
then to calculate the angle we take the inverse tan of the above equation
inv tan (tan A) = inv tan (Y/X)
A = inv tan(Y/X)
A = inv tan ( 59.3/63.8)
A = 42.9 degs north of east
thats how you find the angle
if the X value had been negative you would have to add 180 degs to the angle
A = inv tan( 63.8/59.3)
A = 47.1 degs east of north
by reversing the numbers you get the angle relative to the Y axis or north axis

One direction for sure! I don’t hate justin but i feel like one direction’s song are a lot better than his. Well they have been famous for 2 years now, i do hope they last but lets just enjoy it for now!
