Your Questions About Direct Tv Customer Service

Robert asks…

Are you happy with Dish TV service?

Thinking of switching from Direct TV.

Nagesh answers:

I have been a Dish customer for about 15 years, that should tell you I’m very satisfied with their service and equipment. The only minus is that their customer service can be lacking, however if you only contact them once every couple years it’s alright.
If you do have issues with their customer service just push through and request a supervisor, you’ll get what you need.

Joseph asks…

Which is better, Cox or Direct TV?

Right now, we all have cox, and our bill is starting to get a little pricey, so we were considering changing to Direct TV. We wanted to know which out of the two were better? We heard some bad reviews about customer service about direct TV, but we also wanted to know about prices? Do they spring up any “surprise” fees on you? And is customer service really bad? How often does it go out? etc. etc… Any information would be good 😀

Nagesh answers:

Donna asks…

Direct Tv vs Dish..pros n cons?

Thinking of switching from cable..any suggestions on these companies?

Nagesh answers:

Dish network is a lot cheaper than Direct tv or any cable company you can get. You get a $15 discount off of your bill for a year. With direct tv they say they are cheaper but all of dishs packages are cheaper than direct. Dish network has advanced equipment their Dvrs can record two shows at the same time without running extra cables like direct does. Dish will win customer service 10 out of 10 times. Send me a message and I can even send you a referal card to get $50 off of your bill too. Cotejames59@yahoo.com

Ruth asks…

which satellite TV system is better dish or direct TV?

Nagesh answers:

Having never had Direct TV, I really can’t say. But, I had Dish for 5 years and I have to say that the customer service and dependability were pretty great. Just like any satellite network, the weather will sometimes cause problems, but for the most part, the problems are very spotty and usually don’t last long unless you are in the middle of a giant thunder storm or it is super windy.

Charles asks…

Are there anime channels for direct tv?

I know about adult swim, nicktoons and disney.

Nagesh answers:

There is the FUNimation Channel (the only 24/7 anime channel in the US) but DirecTV does not have it yet.

If you want the FUNimation Channel for your home with DirecTV…

All you need to do is request it.

Step 1. Call a Direct TV Operator
Step 2. Ask for Customer Service Rep
Politely…please
Step 3. Explain to them that FUNimation Channel is a 24 hour anime channel
Step 4. Let them know you would keep with them or switch providers to receive the channel.

Also….

Send note in your next Direct TV bill

Fill out customer service forms on Direct TV’s websites

Go to Direct TV’s office and ask in person!
Better yet…bring them baked goods every week until they add the channel.

That’s the best way to let the cable/dish companies know you want the channel. They file these requests and send them to the corporate offices for review.
