World of Warcraft from direct2drive?
I am having trouble upgrading my trial account online through the official world of warcraft website. I already have the client but I just need a game key to upgrade, so i was wondering if I could get the game key from direct2drive without installing the client. Thank you for any help!! š

That would work as well as any other method, technically. But I would recommend going to a store, or http://us.blizzard.com/store/ and get the “Battle Chest”. You’ll get the regular WoW game, plus the expansion Burning Crusade, plus some (slightly outdated) strategy guides for both, for only $10 more than just buying Burning Crusade. Get WoW + Expansion 1 for $10 cheaper than buying each seperately is worth it by itself.
Also, make sure you remove the Trial Version then install the full version. And don’t bother installing from the disks. They’re like 3 years old. Go to http://www.worldofwarcraft.com and select Manage Account, go through the process of upgrading your account, then select Download Client. It’ll actually be faster to download the entire thing than 3 years of updates.

Those jerks. Hmm…well look on their website to find like a “Contact” or something. Like an e-mail address or phone number. And complain! Show em who’s boss!

Direct2Drive Battlefield 3 beta?
Tomorrow when the public beta comes out, will Direct2Drive allow you to download your bought game from them?
