What to do with bought, unused oblivion?
Bought direct2drive oblivion, found my computer could NOT take it. Leaving the sewers, an error message initiates. What do I do with the software? I spent $20 and I cant play it! I have another macbook pro that could take it but I dont know if I could transfer it. I bought it yesterday but I don’t know if I can return it.

Try ‘oldblivion’ which is a program you can download that allows most older pc’s run the game as it changes the settings on the game to exactly what your computer can handle, as for putting it on a macbook, I don’t think it even runs on mac’s. You can get oldblivion for free at

Can You Use Gift Cards On Gaming Sites?
I have Gift Card that I would like to use to pre order BF3 and since Steam will not be carrying BF3 I was looking at Origin and Direct2drive for pre ordering it. Do either of these sites accept gift cards? I have tried using a gift card on direct2drive before and i didn’t work, maybe I did something wrong. If both of these sites don’t accept them are there others that will?

How long does Direct2Drive take to respond to customer service emails?
i tried to buy sims 3 deluxe (mac) on it buy apparently it needs to be validated.. How long does this normally take?

I’ve used Direct2Drive a few times before, and had to email them too. Each time that I mailed their customer support email, they responded in one business day.

Is there a full version, non demo, freeware zip recovery program?
I downloaded Oblivion on direct2drive but it ALWAYS comes out corrupt even though I’ve followed all of the guides. I’d like to repair the files instead of wasting another solid 12 hours downloading a consistently corrupted game but it’s hell trying to find a NON demo zip recovery program.
