Why do my PC games auto-select 1280×786 when my screen resolution is actually 1280×1024?
I have all the correct drivers installed for my graphics card (a GeForce GTX 460 1GB). But whenever I install a new game on Steam or Direct2Drive the game video/settings/resolution fails to detect that I have a 1280×1024 resolution monitor until I specifically set it as such.
Do I have an ‘odd’ sized monitor that most games aren’t equipped to detect?

I believe this problem must be with some game and not all the games, it could also be the issue of drivers as you mentioned you have correct drivers install so I presume you have version 306.97 http://www.nvidia.in/object/win8-win7-winvista-32bit-306.97-whql-driver-in.html if not the try to use this driver and see if its solves the issue. If it doesn’t then it means somehow the game itself not supporting that resolution itself, you can always set custom resolution in most of the games these days. The easiest way is by going into graphics settings within the game or find particular ini files in documents folder and find the resolution entry and change it with the resolution values you want.

What currency do Pre-Paid Mastercard Gift Cards come in?
I want to purchase a $25 Pre-Paid Mastercard Gift Card in Canada, and I want to spend it on a service called Direct2Drive. In this service I have to be under the US Region tab and I was wondering which currency this card comes in so I know whether there is an exchange rate or not. If anyone has any information on the card, or how Direct2Drive does taxes and currency exchanges, it would be really helpful thanks.

If you are in Canada and buy a prepaid MasterCard Gift Card…. Then the currency used will be the Canadian Dollar because you use Canadian Dollars to pay for it.
In other words there will be an exchange rate fee charged to the card if you use it to purchase things in the United States using the U.S. Dollar as payment currency charged to the card.

I would rather not wait several weeks for it to arrive and would generally rather just download it. It is not on steam or Direct2drive. Does anyone know somewhere?
